Anatomy of Suicide नाटक इस मान्यता पर टिका है कि मनोरोगों की निरंतरता जेनेटिक है और पीढ़ी दर पीढ़ी उससे मुक्त नहीं हुआ जा सकता। वह DNA में शामिल हो जाती है। इस तरह दुखों, निराशाओं और दुरात्माओं का एक अंतहीन चक्र जिसमें पीढ़ियां चक्कर काटती रहती हैं।
राष्ट्रीय नाट्य विद्यालय के तीसरे और अंतिम वर्ष के छात्रों की डिप्लोमा प्रस्तुतियों के क्रम में पिछले हफ्ते Anatomy of Suicide देखने का मौक़ा मिला। यह नाटक युवा ब्रिटिश नाटककार Alice Birch का लिखा हुआ है जिसका हिंदी अनुवाद मितेश गुप्ता ने किया है।
नाटक की सीनोग्राफी और निर्देशन ऋतुरेखा नाथ का है। इसमें अभिनय कर रहे कलाकार हैं प्रिदर्शिनी पूजा, अंजलि नेगी, मृणाली पांडेय, शिवानी वर्मा, मनोज यादव, अर्पणा कपूर, पुनीत नंदा, अमोघ शाक्या, दीपक यादव, प्रार्थना छेत्री और मलिका लोखंडे। तकनीकी सलाहकार विशाल रामचंद्र महालय हैं। लाइट डिज़ाइन तमिलारसी आनन्दवल्ली की है। म्यूजिक डिज़ाइन अभिषेक कौशल और अखिलेश गुलेरिया का है। अभिषेक कुमार राय ने प्रॉपर्टी और कॉस्ट्यूम की ज़िम्मेदारी संभाली है और प्रेरणा जोशी के हाथों में इसकी ड्रामाटर्जी है।
