"At times, I hesitated; at others, I soared, basking in the sunlight. There were moments of uncertainty where I nervously gathered the courage to turn the next page in the dark."
~Irfan, on Narrating the audio book Jitni Mitti, Utna Sona"
Taking on the responsibility narrating his book Jitni Mitti Utna Sona for Amazon Audible, felt as if the writer Ashok Pandey had entrusted me with some household chores.
Friends, when they place their trust in you, have a way of uplifting your spirit. While reading the book, I found myself wandering through various paths, valleys, and mountains, all the while picturing poor Sabine, who endured so many hardships. Yet, she became the gateway to a travel tale that spanned a world of food, language, beliefs, myths, and blusters.
At times, I hesitated; at others, I soared, basking in the sunlight. There were moments of uncertainty where I nervously gathered the courage to turn the next page in the dark. And then there were moments when hunger hit so hard, I wished the book's title was Jitni Litti Utna Chokha, so I could satisfy both my cravings for food and knowledge in one go.
Best wishes, Dadda.
Here’s a quick glimpse.
